You are a visionary. I had a similar idea in my youth about a potential religious apocalypse; that if we were bound to live our short, sad lives subject to the whims of an arbitrary and capricious Creator, the noblest possible act would be mass self-immolation. However I'm not religious so I've never really explored this theme.
