When my mother passed away, my uncle -- who talked a lot like Tony Soprano, but was actually an insurance salesman-- came from New Jersey for the funeral. I said to him "it must be hard to lose your sister" and he shrugged and said in that mobster accent "Eh, I'm getting used to the idea." Always respected that.
