The experience is different for men, of course, because only once have I been told to smile, by some happy drunk of a stranger who hugged me in a bar. Nevertheless, I think of it as a great equalizer and will probably keep wearing it for a while. Also useful if I need to rob a bank, which probability is low but not zero.
