Thanks Andrew! Good points, it’s flattering when someone pays attention to detail.

— Hitlers’ first name is misspelled because I misspelled it and now can’t decide if it would be unethical to correct it :)

— Morphine because by the end of the war Hitler was addicted to numerous drugs, opiates among them, so it seemed plausible

— the prescription was a necessary McGuffin to move the story forward, but I figured that given the Nazi penchant for bureaucracy and documentation, it wasn’t unreasonable that one would be written. In my mind, the prescription would be handed to someone in the dispensary for administrative reasons. But I can conjecture they might also just grab it from a cabinet.

— I can absolutely conceive that OSS types would have abetted a Hitler escape if the benefits were perceived to be high. Fortunately I think the forensic evidence that he died in Berlin is pretty strong.
