Terrifying and infuriating. Science has been aware of the liklihood of tipping points for at least a couple of decades, but they were rarely incorporated into models, at least in part for fear of sounding alarmist. Not the fault of scientists, there's a lot of money and power behind the climate denial propaganda campaign.
