My experience with reads and claps has been similar. I also attribute it at least in part to the fact that I don't see my old friend's work as easily and vice versa.

I am starting to think I understand why they might do this, as I'm starting to read more stories out of interest rather than loyalty.

Given my limited time (I also have a family and a 9 to 5) maybe that's not such a bad thing. But I miss that engagement.
