I tried for a long time, with no luck. I've got a lot of contacts but lack the formal skill set most companies are looking for. In my job a few years ago as product mgr I built a tool for online brokerage that lets retail investors access detailed ESG data on companies they want to invest in. It was the first in Canada, and I"m still proud of it. Had to sell it up the chain for about a year to get funding.
