I saw this but didn't quite understand it, which is a reflection on me and not the function. Does it disappear from both my profile and the publication it was in? I can see this being a useful tool, as there are a few stories that don't draw crowds and may be actively driving people away. Like you, I don't want to delete them - who knows when a shift in the zeitgeist will render them suddenly relevant?
