Hinge just gives a bunch of prompts to choose from that are meant to start conversations, and inserting "I've got a ten year old!" as the answer to "We'll get along if..." seemed forced and awkward. When I first tried other apps after my separation I did put the boy up front and dated a couple of women with kids of similar age. Which I liked. I've decided since that meeting people IRL is slower but more productive in the long run.
