Great album. I remember seeing Springsteen in what must have been 1985, and he intro'd Brilliant Disguise with something to the effect of "when you're first married you're all in love, and you want to be with them all the time, then after a while it's "are we going out or do I have to sit around all night looking at your face?"

From where we were sitting at the side we could occasionally see his then-wife Julianne Philips wandering around backstage, and I remember thinking that this did not bode well for the marriage.
